As many of you are most likely already aware given a lot of models are openly discussing it with their rooms, the site will be implementing new pay rate changes effective from 8th September.

These changes have been promoted as something to be excited about through social media posts / emails to models; however, it’s becoming increasingly clear among both models and members that the reality may be quite different.

From discussions that I’ve had with several models, the consensus is that a significant number are actually facing a pay cut rather than an improvement despite putting in countless hours over the last several years to reach the rates they are currently on before the upcoming change, which for many, feels like their hard work and dedication to the site is being diminished.

Understandably, this has created a noticeable shift in the atmosphere across the site. Many models are openly questioning their future here, and there’s a growing sense of uncertainty about what the platform will look like in the coming months, which will apply for both models and members.

It’s also worth acknowledging that the pay scale adjustment is just one part of a wider set of changes being rolled out, and these additional adjustments could further impact how models are able to earn a living here. For some, this may mean making the difficult choice to leave the platform entirely. Others may feel compelled to diversify by working on multiple sites simultaneously, which could dilute the sense of community that many of us value, and absolutely takes away from the “premium” image / feel the site is trying to promote.

I’d really like to hear from members about how this shift is being experienced in the rooms you frequent. Are you noticing changes in mood, energy, or the availability of your favourite models?

From my perspective, it has been demoralising to see how deeply this is already affecting the people I’ve built rapport with.

I have not seen any model discussion on this, but I would not support any changes that result in the models getting a lower cut of what we spend on them. The Flirt pay formula is pretty nebulous to me, and the actual changes that are being made aren't very clear. From what I understand, the old/current formula is based on hours worked and credits earned per pay period, and this new formula seems to be based (also? instead of?) on career accomplishments. Without knowing any details, I can't make any judgements on the pay scale itself, but I do trust the models' reactions and if it will negatively impact many of them than I would not be in support. Do you have any details on the circumstances in which models will receive a lower payout? From what I've gathered it should be increased in many circumstances, so perhaps its a loophole that could be easily closed. Quote
